Manufacturing stages, quality hold points, process parameters, testing, packing, lifting & transport — distribution · power · cast resin

Cutaway general arrangement — what goes where

Sectional GA, schematic proportions. The build sequence below follows the same order: core → windings → insulation → assembly → drying → tanking → accessories → test → despatch.

Crane selection bands (mobile crane at ≈ 8–10 m working radius)

≤ 5 t25–30 t mobile4-leg chain sling, ≥ 60° angle
≤ 15 t70 t mobilewire-rope slings + shackles WLL ≥ W/2 × 1.25
≤ 30 t130 t mobilespreader beam mandatory (bushing clearance)
≤ 60 t220 t mobilespreader beam, tag lines

Road transport bands (GCC practice)

Transport weightVehicleNotes
≤ 24 tflatbed semi-trailernormal permits
≤ 45 t3-axle lowbedabnormal-load permit
≤ 80 t4–6 axle lowbedroute survey, escort if wide
≤ 150 t8–12 line hydraulic modular trailerpolice escort, night movement
> 150 tSPMT / multi-line modularbridge assessments, utility lifting of cables/gantries
Rules of thumb used: axle-line limit ≈ 12 t (GCC), travel height limit ≈ 4.95 m (UAE major routes — survey lower routes!), width > 3.5 m or height > 4.95 m triggers escort + route survey. EHV units ship oil-out with bushings, conservator and radiators removed; dry-air or N₂ blanket with pressure gauge and a 3-axis impact recorder (alarm ≥ 3 g).
