This policy explains what personal data TransformerPath ("we") collects, why, and your rights. TransformerPath is an information platform operated by a freelancer under a freelance digital-marketing licence, and is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf, and with the separate buyer-RFQ exception in Buyer RFQ contacts. That exception is not a processor relationship.
An email-marketing platform (subscriber lists + newsletter delivery), our website host Netlify (form submissions + hosting), Google (Google Analytics for aggregated site metrics and Google AdSense for advertising, both operating under Google's Privacy & Terms), and ipapi.co (an approximate country lookup from your IP address for regional content). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.
Essential cookies keep the site working (theme preference, course-access state). Google Analytics (GA4) uses measurement cookies to help us evaluate site traffic and user engagement, and our consent banner loads it only after you choose Accept. Essential only keeps Analytics off. You can also opt out of Google Analytics measurement via the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
The Google AdSense tag is part of every published page so automatic ads can run. That tag is not held back by our banner: Google’s crawler has to see it, and a home-made banner is not a certified consent tool for ads. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown Google’s own privacy message (Funding Choices, from the AdSense Privacy & messaging screen) before personalized ads. You can manage ad personalization in Google Ads Settings and the YourAdChoices opt-out.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and unsubscribe at any time. To exercise any right, contact us. Depending on your location (e.g. EU/UK GDPR and other applicable data-privacy laws) you may have additional rights, including complaining to a supervisory authority.
The public RFQ page does not show a buyer’s email, phone, or full name. If you tick the RFQ consent box, we may send your name, work email, company, and the technical fields in that RFQ to at most 5 matched suppliers so they can respond to that request. That disclosure is to those suppliers. It is not a processor relationship. The consent record stores the time and the text version you accepted.
A supplier who receives a contact must not resell it or use it for any offer other than that RFQ. You can withdraw consent. Further sends stop. Suppliers who already received the contact are told to delete it. We keep the RFQ record until the deadline, plus 90 days, unless you ask for deletion sooner.
We keep data only as long as needed and take reasonable measures to protect it. RFQ contacts follow the deadline-plus-90-days limit above. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Where you make a purchase, payment is processed by Stripe, acting as our payment processor. Stripe receives your name and billing details to process your transaction; we do not store your card number. You may review Stripe's own privacy terms for its handling of that data.
