The transformer sector is large, global and fast-moving — tenders, capacity shifts, material prices and grid investment change constantly — yet the information is scattered across dozens of sources and languages. TransformerPath gathers it, verifies it, and presents it clearly, so buyers, utilities, EPCs, engineers and suppliers can stay ahead without hunting.
TransformerPath operates independently. Directory inclusion, verification, editorial coverage, rankings, technical content and commercial opportunities are governed by TransformerPath's published methodology and are not influenced by outside commercial relationships.
Engineering content follows the IEC 60076 and IEEE C57 families, and methods are checked against the invoked standards and against practical works practice. Design calculations use classical closed-form methods: where a result depends on local or high-frequency effects this is noted and the text points to where finite-element analysis is required (see the analytical vs FEM boundary). The verification standards describe how directory entries are tiered, and correction policy is simple: errors are fixed as soon as they are confirmed.
Regarding the tools. The calculators, generators and checks are engineering aids for first-pass sizing and documentation. Outputs must be checked against the relevant published standard and a qualified engineer's judgement before they are relied upon.
