Verification Standards

The directory is built for buyers who need to trust what they're looking at. Here's exactly what each tier means — and what it doesn't.

The three tiers

Every company in the census sits at one of three levels of confirmation.

Listed

Listed

Free · compiled by us
  • Entry compiled from public sources — company website, public registries, trade records.
  • Name, location, product lines and official link shown as found.
  • Not yet confirmed by the company itself.
  • Any company can claim its entry to move up a tier.
✓ Verified

Verified

$10/mo · $100/yr
  • A representative of the company has claimed the listing.
  • Contact details, product range and locations confirmed by the company.
  • Working official website and a reachable business contact on file.
  • Carries the ✓ Verified badge across the directory and profile.
★ Pro Verified

Pro Verified

$15/mo · $150/yr
  • Everything in Verified, plus documentary review.
  • Trade licence / company registration sighted.
  • At least one product certification or type-test reference checked (e.g. IEC 60076, KEMA, factory test reports).
  • Priority placement and the ★ Pro Verified badge.

How verification works

1

Claim or submit

A company claims its existing entry or submits a new one through the list / claim form, choosing Verified or Pro Verified.

2

Confirm the basics

We match the submission against the official website and public records, and confirm a reachable business contact. This clears the Verified tier.

3

Documentary review (Pro)

For Pro Verified, we sight a trade licence or registration and at least one product certification or type-test reference before the badge is granted.

4

Stay current

Verified entries are kept active by the company. Listings found to be inaccurate are returned to Listed until corrected.

What every listed company is expected to meet

TransformerPath is an independent information platform, not a party to any transaction. Verification confirms identity and stated credentials at the time of review; it is not a guarantee of quality, delivery or commercial performance. Buyers should always carry out their own due diligence before placing orders.
